Can you repair just one section?

Yes. Most fence repairs are a single visit: cut out the damage, fabricate the replacement on the truck, weld it in, and prime.

Steel or aluminum?

Steel for strength and security; aluminum where salt air and low maintenance matter. We'll recommend based on where the fence lives.
